The AC Is Finally Fixed!

For almost a week now, the air conditioning had been out, and the weather has been in the low 80s. So the boys walk around in their underwear, shoes, and cowboy hats. Sometimes, they have a better sense of style than I do, and I've been dressing myself a lot longer than they have been.

They're currently watching Caillou on Coldens iPad. And Caillou has a Popsicle, so Peyton comes up to me and says "Miss Kaitlyn, I need a Popsicle like them!" Well, alright. So they both get one, and every 45 seconds, "will you push it up? it's too hard!" Okay! I will!

They actually haven't driven me nuts today. Although Colden likes to throw fits. So today he started around 1. He picked up his toy and threw it, I told him no, and he threw it again. Then he started telling me no, and hitting my leg. I told him if he didn't stop, he'd get a "pow pow" which is their word for a spanking(even though I never do it.) He quit for a little, and started back up again 5 minutes later. I told him to go to momma's room, and he followed me in there. I turned on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and he laid down, and went right to sleep. So it was a win win for us both!

Peyton doesn't really nap, but when he does, he sleeps for about 2 hours. Which is nice, but then I get really bored when they both disappear to nap or play. I like being around them. I don't want kids yet. I'm not even dating so that's kinda out of the question. But these are the only kids I need to be around right now, being that I'm only 19! Not that it is stopping anyone else, I'm just not ready for that! Someday for sure though (:

Gotta go put on Jake and the Neverland Pirates!

The adventures of peyton and Colden shall continue!

Pow Pow

There are times in the morning where I want to just hit my snooze button until 10am. But hey, life is unfair. This morning was actually really easy to get up, since I was up every almost every hour of the night. Usually days go slow when that happens, but today is actually going pretty fast.

A few days ago, the ac in the house went out, Heather said they should be coming Friday but we'll see about that. She bought a couple of fans for the boys' rooms, and now, they won't leave them alone. "I'm gonna go turn my fan off!" and "I'm gonna turn it higher" is all I hear. Well, I hear that, and the theme song to Doc McStuffins on Disney Channel.

The boys started arguing about who gets which stuffed animal. So I gave them each one, and then walked back to the kitchen to get their milk. And now, I hear screaming, so I walk back in Peyton's room. I asked what was going on, and Colden says "Bear ate doggy" in one of those heart breaking cries. I then asked if doggy was okay, and he says "Yessssss, I think so" and now they're back to laughing! And farting contests...

Boys will be boys!

Meet The Boys

These boys are a couple of the craziest kids ever, but I mean, what else would you expect from a 2 year old and a 3 year old? They actually are really good kids... sometimes... Saying "please" and "thank you" when they want or get something. Running up to me yelling "Ms. Kaitlyn! We need help!" whenever one of them gets stuck on top of the Play School car most every one of us had in our childhoods. Oh and don't forget the "I gotta go potty" then we have a full blown conversation on what bathroom to use when both the boys have to go, then they end up using the same one.

I don't believe my life ever has a dull moment with these two rascals. Peyton is 3, and Colden is 2. They're a handful, but I couldn't picture life without either of them. They drive me crazy, make me laugh, and they always make a bad day better. I always have a new story to tell with them.

This morning, the boys got up around 8, Peyton came out first, and wanted to watch cartoons, like always. 15 minutes later, it's Coldens turn! He grabs his ipad(yes, they each have an iPad) and he sits next to me. He puts on one of his racing games, and leans on his left side with his butt towards me, and just let's it rip! The laugh and smile he had after that was just priceless.

We go to the kitchen and get milk, then the boys slide down the stairs and go to their toy room. I'm on my third cup of coffee by this point. These kids seriously have more energy than someone who just drank 5 energy drinks. But now, it's nap time. Colden is passed out in the living room, and Peyton is in his bed.

Until next time! My adventures with Peyt and Colly shall be continued!
